Claims Adjusters

We believe there is no substitute for prompt and efficient investigation of new claims, and that such investigations should be conducted on-site, with recorded statements and photographic/video documentation whenever possible.  In the Jones Act arena, managing maintenance and cure payments and wage advances has to be done timely  and correctly.  The same is true with respect to claims under the LHWCA,where prompt medical and wage benefit payments are required, along with medicare processing.

Our systems are cloud-based – first reports of claims, including supported documentation, can be uploaded by our clients immediately, and claims can be tracked by clients from any device with an internet connection.  For our clients with a larger claims base, the database allows for risk management and data analytics capabilities the allow for the reduction of future claims, and to shorten the length of time claims are open or “in process.”

Nurse Case Managers

Nurse Case Managers at Medical  Dynamics Associates help injured employees recover and return to work, serving as a liaison between the employee, physicians, employer, and insurance company. Nurse Case Managers help the employee understand and navigate the medical care process and available treatment options, identify and arrange for appropriate medical services (including, with permission, attending appointments and speaking directly to physicians), and advocate for the injured employee’s medical needs.

While a Nurse Case Manager may not be warranted in every case or for the life of a claim, our philosophy is that early involvement by a Nurse Case Manager yields long-term positive results for the injured employee, the employer and the insurer.
